Chapter Officers

Nina Kalhori

President

My biggest piece of advice is to put yourself out there in this chapter. In everything you do, you get out what you put in, so if you want something, you have the ability to achieve it in this chapter. Everyone is so excited to welcome you into this sisterhood, you are loved, appreciated, and supported!!! Kappa has given me the opportunity to grow as a friend, a sister, and a leader, and I have been lucky enough to meet my lifelong friends in this chapter. The support and love that this group of people exude is absolutely amazing, and I am forever grateful to be part of something so special.

VP - Standards

I always say what you put into Kappa is what you get out of it. The best thing you can do during your Kappa experience is make your best effort to attend every meeting, sisterhood, and event that you can. This really helps you find your people and your place in the chapter. Sometimes, opportunities are out of my comfort zone, however, my Kappa sisters have always been so encouraging, which makes it a lot easier to feel confident and put myself out there. These experiences have helped me grow my leadership, teamwork, and time management skills tremendously, and I am so grateful for everything Kappa has given me!

VP - Operations

Kappa, just like college, is what you make of it. There are so many amazing opportunities for you within Kappa so do not let any chance pass you by! It can be as simple as asking a sister out to coffee or getting involved with Greek Life events. Kappa is a safe space for you to be your most authentic self and to get out of your comfort zone. In Kappa, I have found a whole support system of forever friendships to support me no matter what, but it’s all because I opened myself up to all of the opportunities presented to me. I am so grateful to Kappa for providing me with forever friends, fulfilling memories, and life-changing experiences that I will take with me outside of college.

Of course college is a memorable place to learn and grow, but it can also feel overhwleming at times. I can truly say that Kappa has been such a stable and safe space that has allowed me to create lifelong friendships. Kappa is a place that you can be unapologetically yourself, such a special feeling. Kappas wont just be there for you when times are rough, they will always be there for you

Enjoy every second of being in Kappa because 4 years go by so fast. Make an effort to meet new girls and stay actively involved. My biggest advice is to get involved! you get what you put in and getting involved has brought me so many new friends and memories that i’ll cherish forever! this sisterhood is full of some of the most amazing women i’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing and i wouldn’t be as close with them if i didn’t put myself out there!

Mackenzie Edwards

Public Relations Director

Kappa has become more than I could've ever imagined and I truly understand why girls say "you get out what you put in". From spontaneous coffee dates with sisters I'm still getting to know, to staying up until 3am with sisters that know me better than anyone else out there, to enjoying every second I'm apart of this chapter, these girls have become true family to me!
