Contact: chapmankkg.organization@gmail.com Class: Junior Her Advice: Don't worry about what anyone else might say about your experiences in Kappa! There might be people who think sororities are lame or who might try to bring you down for your choice. And if so, don't let it get in the way of you having the best time of your life. We will be your support system, we will accept you, we will make you feel happy you chose Kappa so just live it up and embrace everything!

Kristyna Otto

Education Chairman

Contact: chapmankkg.education@gmail.com Her Advice: During recruitment, a common question asked is "what even is a sorority?" The answer, I think, is simple: a sorority can be whatever it is you are looking for. If you are looking for friendship--it's here. If you are looking for leadership--it's here. If you are looking for philanthropy--it's here. Whatever it may be, you can find it in Kappa. You are here for a reason and there are people in this chapter who believe in you (even if you don't even think they know who you are yet). So don't be afraid to put yourself out there to find what you are looking for because you are already so valued in the chapter.

Sasha Dana

Events Chairman

Contact: chapmankkg.events@gmail.com Class: Sophomore Major: Biology Her Advice: Enjoy every moment you can, you only get them once.

Maithu Koppolu

Membership Chairman

Contact: chapmankkg.membership@gmail.com Her Advice: What you put into this chapter is what you will get out of it! It may seem overdone, but the amount of yourself you give to this chapter almost directly correlates to the relationships and connections you get out of it; show up to as many events as you can, don't be afraid to express interest in leadership positions early on, and don't always expect others to reach out to you first, you can totally reach out to them too!

Caitlin Guiao

New Member Chairwoman

Contact: chapmankkg.newmembership@gmail.com Class: Sophomore Her Advice: I know that everything that encompasses this process is new and a little scary, but it's also very exciting! During my New Member experience I raised my hand and volunteered to go to anything and everything, even when I didn't exactly know what I was signing up for. But you'll soon discover what you get out of Kappa is what you put into it. With that I encourage each and every one of you to step out of your comfort zone and be willing to allow your fellow New Members and Actives to get to know who you are. Whether that be saying hi to a girl sitting next to you in meeting or leading an entire game at New Member retreat. You never know what connection(s) you can create just by sparking a conversation.

Charlotte Cavanaugh-Kerr

Panhellenic Representative

Contact: chapmankkg.panhellenic@gmail.com Class: Sophomore Her Advice: Never ever feel nervous about reaching out! Everyone in the chapter wants to get to know each and every one of you, especially people on CC, because we are all here to support you and love every single one of you and help you feel more comfortable and a part of the Kappa family! (My number is 610 - 717- 7116 and if you ever feel like asking any questions about anything or just want to hang, I am ALWAYS down for a lil coffee date ♡

Maria Kachulis-Moriarty

Philanthropy Chairman

Contact: chapmankkg.philanthropy@gmail.com Her Advice: Reach out!! If you wanna get to know someone better (in your pledge class or anyone else) don’t be afraid to reach out to them and make plans. Chances are they wanna meet new people too so don’t be nervous to put yourself out there. You’re here for a reason and it’s because we connected with you and saw something in you that we wanna know more about so make the most of it and start getting to know your sisters!! (p.s. there’s no such thing as a dumb question so ask about literally anything, we’re here to help!)

Lexi Brass

Public Relations Chairman

Contact: chapmankkg.publicrelations@gmail.com Class: Sophomore Her Advice: It’s normal to feel out of place or like you are a very small part of Kappa at the beginning...don’t let that discourage you. Reach outside your comfort zone and get to know the girls that are going though this with you!

Elena Trask
